Achieve, Inc.:
Achieve, Inc. was created by the nation's governors and business leaders in 1996 as a bipartisan, non-profit organization that helps states raise academic standards, improve assessments and strengthen accountability to prepare all young people for postsecondary education, work and citizenship.

Education Bill Tracking Database:
Maintained by the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), the Education Bill Tracking Database provides information on state education-related bills.

Education Commission of the States (ECS):
ECS  helps states develop effective policy and practice for public education by providing data, research, analysis and leadership; and by facilitating collaboration, the exchange of ideas among the states and long-range strategic thinking.

Education Testing Service Policy Information Center:
The Education Testing Service Policy Information Center administers the exam and provides information on relevant policies.

Education Trust:
The Education Trust advocates for the high academic achievement of all students at all levels, pre-kindergarten through college.

Jobs for the Future:
Jobs for the Future is a nonprofit research, consulting, and advocacy organization that works to strengthen society by creating educational and economic opportunity for those who need it most.

 Lumina Foundation for Education:
The Lumina Foundation for Education is a private independent foundation that strives to help people achieve their potential by expanding access and success in education beyond high school.

Manhattan Institute for Policy Research:
The Manhattan Institute for Policy Research provides data on graduation rates and college readiness by state, race and ethnicity.

National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS) Information Center for Higher Education Policy Making and Analysis:
NCHEMS provides higher education policymakers and analysts with the data and information needed to make sound policy decisions.

Partnership for 21st Century Skills:
The Partnership for 21st Century Skills seeks to position 21st century skills at the center of US K-12 education by building collaborative partnerships among education, business, community and government leaders

Pathways to College Network:
The Pathways to College Network is a national alliance of organizations committed to using research-based knowledge to improve postsecondary education access and success for the nation’s underserved students.

Ready or Not Writing:
Ready or Not Writing, an initiative of MnSCU works to increase chances for post-secondary writing success by assessing high school students’ college-ready writing skills during their sophomore and junior year. 

State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO):
SHEEO represents and works with the leaders of state departments of higher education to develop and sustain excellent systems of postsecondary education.

The State Policy Inventory Database Online:
The State Policy Inventory Database provides policies and resources in areas such as student achievement, access and success in higher education.  Search by state or issue for statutes, state board policies, links to state agencies, resources and studies.

Work Readiness Credential:
Developed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Work Readiness Credential is a certification of work readiness for entry-level work as defined by employers. It is the first national, standards-based assessment for entry-level workers to provide a universal, transferable, national standard for work readiness.
